The AGCS Reinsurance department is responsible for organizing optimal Treaty and Facultative Reinsurance protection for AGCS globally. The main activities of the department concentrate on driving the processes that lead to renewal, non-renewal or alteration of existing Reinsurance protections, as well as implementation of new reinsurance.
In order to ensure smooth and correct execution of the duties the Reinsurance department must closely collaborate with various departments within AGCS and Allianz Group. The most important contacts include the CUO Departments, Claims, Finance, Accounting, Planning & Analysis, Legal, Actuarial and Cat Management Teams.
•Currently enrolled in University (ideally studying Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration or other area that involves a strong focus on quantitative analysis )
•Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
•Good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
•Intercultural awareness and “can- do” attitude
•Basic communication and presentation skills
•Very good command of the English language (verbal and written), German language is beneficial

We are looking for a Reinsurance Analyst (m/w/d) to join CFO Reinsurance at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) in Munich.
In this role you will…
Support Technical Evaluation of Key Reinsurance Deals including; Technical Price and Key strategic metrics.
Support new metrics development.
Support increased focus on technical metrics for reinsurance evaluation within AGCS.
Improve the consistency and accuracy of current pricing process via new platforms.
Support Planning Process, including both Technical Implementation and Communication of Reinsurance Strategy.
Lead Allocation of reinsurance costs for booking and Planning.
Support Analysis of Large deals.
Support the process for gathering loss and premium data.
Collaborate on technical analysis internally with Corporate Actuarial, Planning and Controlling, Risk
Management, Underwriting, Claims.
Support technical communication with external stakeholders, such as Group, Allianz Re, Brokers, Auditors, Reinsurers.
Support a global approach to reinsurance in individual underwriting.
Support Technical Portfolio management, particularly for Cat risk.
Effectively manage ad hoc requests.
