AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician Intern to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This paid 3 month internship offers the opportunity to work in one of our Data Centers.
Data Center Engineering Operations Technician Intern
Our Engineering Operations Technician group is Amazon’s front line when it comes to hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting. They maintain, operate, and troubleshoot the Data Center Operation’s Mission Critical Facilities.
Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows.
Currently in pursuit of obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.

1+ years of data center operations/facilities experience.
